Yes Ozil will be very difficult to offload, his brand/profile has regressed and is on ridiculously high wages. At the time we bought, he was arguably the best 10 in the world.

Now, would he even make the top 10?

Ozil isn't going anywhere. Last time he was up for contract (available), there was basically no interest in him. And given the money he's on, hard to see anyone looking to get him.

We can't sit on these players and expect anything to get better.

The club needs to do what is necessary to move on under performing high earners.

Wouldn't be in the top 10 in the league on current form.

What happens there? The club would have to buy out a large percentage of his contract?

Theoretically, the club would say to a prospective buyer "you can have Ozil for say $20m and we'll pay xxx amount of his salary"

His current wage means only the "Super" clubs could afford him and unless PSG want him for funsies I can't see Madrid/City/United/Barca/Bayern being interested unless its at a massive cut price.

If we wear even 50% of his current salary to get him off our books then a win for us.

That being said, Ozil could stay but i can't see how Arsenal are going to be able to afford the necessary squad pieces to make the team revolve around his play-style.

IMO the club made two MASSIVE **** ups; Not selling Alexis to Man City and by getting Aubameyang (and that's not because i don't rate him as a player).

Anyone think we’re winning tonight?
Who can say, we haven't really gone into any ruts this season, generally bouncing back well after drops in form. But, having said that, we have put in 2 abject performances back-to-back. Hopefully Emery can get them motivated, especially with Spurs losing again.

Being bossed by City, no midfield to pass to and being cut apart at will.

Only time until they score.
