Meek Jones and Darcy go again. Honestly not fair for Shepperd. If being all things reasonable, Jones should be pushed down to reserves, Meek for development in seniors. Jones isn’t going to nothing more then a back up for the back up.
Peel will struggle with 3 lumbering rucks. Know what would be the cherry on top? If they play Cox as CHB, just like against West Coast reserves. Heh

Sturt has concussion and will likely be out for a number of weeks as they want to take it careful- his second concussion

Banfield might be held over for a late change / emergency

I’d drop Meek. Jones had an absolute bowler of a game against West Coast ressies but at least he can take a decent grab. Meek is a tall orange cone. At least that is my observation from watching them both. Jones is definitely a brake glass emergency only type but is way more ready to play AFL than Meek. The problem for Jones and this will likely result in his delisting is that he would need to be paired with another ruck as his fitness is crapola.

If Meek plays AFL then I’m off to the TAB for the first time in my life to place some money on whatever team we are playing. He would get slaughtered. I mean seriously what on earth is this business of him playing in the backline. Are they growing some weed (or magic mushrooms) under those power lines up on the sand hills. If they are I would love to be involved in the Peel team selection meetings.
