Maynard was very very lucky to play in the grand final his effort and his ridiculously clumsy tackle was 5x worse than our boy mansell.

The afl knew it , coll would have gone to court and no one wanted that, it warranted a suspension, you cant leap up like a mad campaigner with no regard for opponent, duty of care has been disregarded

Only good thing is that the AFL tend to give a team one good year, if they win the flag, then move on. So hopefully they will move onto another team as love children next year. hopefully now GWS, cause they might be very very good.

doesnt take much umpire assistance to win the flag. getting it in the early part of the season is crucial as it deludes the players into thinking they're half decent. pies list is rubbish and they are nowhere near a flag without gobbies from the men in phlegm

blooze have a better list than pies, reckon they could win the flag with the same umpiring they had last year (which was the second best favourable umpiring after the pies).

no team could win the flag being umpired the way we were for the seasons after the 2020 flag

A 50% improvement is alot.

Even 10-20% is probably the difference between a bad game and a good game. Whether we can achieve that remains to be seen. Old habits die hard, match pressure is king and confidence is everything.

Yeah it is but our kicking was so bad the last two years 50% would just bring us back to the accuracy of an under 17 player.

10-20% is definitely more realistic.

One of the bummers flags against us was similar. We won the granny but they got premiership due to bigger aggregate winning margin. Think it was 1924.

we also boycotted the granny in the early 1900s cos the umpires were corrupt so they just gave the flag to essedon

if not for league corruption we should be on 15 /17 flags now
