Wrighty may well want Vossy's head on a platter but given Carlton's reputation as a place that careers/reputations go to die , who is out there that is good and wants the job?

Even worse - what if the Blues had appointed Fly?
What is wrong with me, that I’m even asking this question? Get a grip VP.
This is more damming than their decision to appoint Voss. Something they only did when they couldn’t get Clarkson or Lyon. That’s an easy one to reconcile …
… Carlton had opportunities to appoint Fly, but they never considered him to be a serious option, they didn’t even think he was worth interviewing.
Shit clubs do what shit clubs do.
Would be hilarious if they finish the round in 15th with a % over 100Just gonna leave this here. Some quality teams blues are above. For now atleast

Enjoy this for the next few hours
Humiliating for Voss to know he was running fourth for the Pies job, and a long way behind. Would make him feel yucky.
I feel yucky too, in thinking he was even being considered. We did more than dodge a bullet.

You'd think Wright would have to have someone like Longmire on the hook to oust Voss with a year still to go on his contract.

Their processes like the club are flawedWho knows what Wright will do?
Carlton have already tried a very similar process to the one we used to appoint Fly.
- Put together a panel
- Include on the panel the CEO
- Include on the panel people who understand what brings success (they had Ange Posticoglou and Ken Sheldon)
- Include on the panel somebody who understands things from a player point of view (they had Chris Judd)
… and just like us they came up with a first time coach, a coach who is a great teacher and strong with development, a coach who had been part of successful programs in the past …
Brendon Bolton
Just like Fly, he added to their trophy cabinet …
… but instead of silverware it was a wooden spoon.

they are in footy purgatory, yet to atone for past scumbaggery, the suffering will continue. So, even when they incorporate some competence and integrity into the process of searching for a new coach…
They fail.
Bit tough on Bolts, for whom I have a lot of respect. He was up to his neck in our ‘23 flag, and one of the brains in the premiership triumvirate (with Leppa and Fly).
But he too fell victim to the malevolent spirit which haunts Carlton, and which manifests in unrealistic and excessive impatience for success.
So good that it continues to elude them.
Depends on what condition their soft cap is in.You'd think Wright would have to have someone like Longmire on the hook to oust Voss with a year still to go on his contract.
Gotta feel for Bolts, but a great Assistant Coach doesn't automatically make a great Head Coach.Plus their fans are very inpatient and expect everything to be handed to them, if they don't get their way or if wins don't come, they boo their players, they ridicule everyone at their club and the club respond with a knee jerk reaction (fire coach) and the cycle of sh!t continues. So, even when they incorporate some competence and integrity into the process of searching for a new coach…

Imagine if they lose…The blues are playing Essendon’s VFL team today. Curnow will kick a bag (downhill skier) , blues will win and they will be back baby! Then a couple more huge wins against the eagles and north in succession again (yes again)
And the blues fans will be up and about.
Muzza is gonna jump right back on!
