We don't have to sell the farm for one. A competent ruckman needs a good midfield to support him, the second part is more pressing than the first.

people are hoping that we win games by simply tapping to Reid all game. and willing to throw kitchen sink via old Collingwood ruckman who taps to Pendlebury, daicos and Sidebottom. because its not those midfielders, its the ruckman who makes them great.

Ideally he’d be worth less. That’s the max I’d consider and wouldn’t be upset if that’s what it took. Again I’d prefer if it was less.
