Chillax gentlemen. As long as he comes back and performs well I'm sure most of us don't care if that's in round 23, 24 or the 1st final as long as he isn't rushed back.

The Hawks, who are currently 13/6 and sitting just outside the 8 ……..

Seriously?
This is why we need to not jump all over journos when a mistake is made.

If a frequent BigFooty Poster, who runs a Hawthorn podcast and is at training pretty much every week is getting it wrong anybody can.

In the editing of the piece, I had written the number 4 and when edited for the word it was replaced with the word eight.

There's also a double up of a paragraph near the photo in the middle. Waiting on the editor to fix it, but appreciate you bringing it to my attention 👍

Seamus Mitchell - Groin (Test)

"He's had some groin pain recently which we've been managing just over the last week to two weeks progressively. He resumed training today and he will train Thursday. We'll make a final assessment for his availability this weekend."

Cody Anderson - Leg (1-2 weeks)

"Cody is a young player coming into the system. He just flagged some shin pain recently. We're just managing young man's shin splints and we've just offloaded him for the past week. He'll miss this weekend then we'll reload and aim to look at next week.

Noah Mraz - Knee (3-4 weeks)

"He's progressing really well. Good stregth, starting to do some intro running and we're still aiming for the first week of the VFL Finals for a return to play."

Will Day - Foot (Season)

"It's incredibly disappointing for Will, number one, and for everyone else involved in the process of getting him back. Will had a long preparation and meticulous plan leading into that Carlton game which he played and pulled up really, really well. But out of the weekend, we got the news that we was sore in his foot. The MRI scan on Saturday showed he has bone oedema in his navicular bone but since then, we've had a CT Scan as well, which shows that the screw and the surgical intervention originally done four months ago looks excellent, which is good news. He also has a joint irritation further down his foot, so there's actually two things going on here that we're managing. But ultimately, the bone oedema in his navicular is the reason why he's ruled out for the season. From here, it'll be an aggressive deload period where he'll be off legs. Then slowly, we'll be progressively reloading again over the off-season and really, it should give him a full preparation over the off-season into next pre-season."

Finn Maginness - Kidney (Season)

"He was in with us yesterday and again, today. His energy levels are still not back to normal, so he's only here for a short period of time and he's still going through that recovery process from what he's been through recently with his kidney. We've talked about low level introduction to exercise in about three to four weeks from now. It'll be a long and gradual process based on the medical experts."

Josh Weddle - Back (TBC)

"Weds is putting back-to-back running sessions together and progressing under Jack Price's (Rehab Coordinator) program. We're progressing and looking to play in the latter part of the season, depending on how the team progresses."
