Same thing. For our BigFooty physio's - How bad is Sam Cumming's shoulder?
Is a stabilisation better than a full reco? From what I can tell a stabilisation is more ligament based which sounds like it should be a more encouraging outcome...
Port's first pick will be good enough. Pick 14 and 30 for example is a points gain for pick 8.Feel for Cumming but it might push him out to our Hawks first. Huge wishful thinking.

I thought Judd fell because recruiters asked him what he needed to improve on, and he had to say something so he said his kicking and then all the recruiters got it into their heads that he was a shit kickSame thing.
Not an issue. Remember a certain chris judd had bad shoulders and fell to pick 3 BC of it.
It was both shoulders that saw him slide.I thought Judd fell because recruiters asked him what he needed to improve on, and he had to say something so he said his kicking and then all the recruiters got it into their heads that he was a shit kick
Lindsay is the other one. He isn't getting past Richmond.Do we think Duursma is a flight risk?
Assuming we take someone like Sharp, are we more comfortable taking the risk with Duursma or CDT?
Is there anyone else we should be focusing on with 1&2?
Take the best player in the draft with 1, split 2 for needs basis.Do we think Duursma is a flight risk?

Agree with that. Looking at their list build, an elite kick off half back is a big need. I think Cumming as a balanced mid is also high on their want list.Lindsay is the other one. He isn't getting past Richmond.
Is Schubert really on our radar?Agree with that. Looking at their list build, an elite kick off half back is a big need. I think Cumming as a balanced mid is also high on their want list.
What we want to see is clubs fixated on players. My perfect scenario:-
Bombers fixated with Duursma and go 5 and 7 for 1. I realise they might want something else but this is perfect scenario
Tigers get wind we want Lindsay do offer up 3 and 4 for 2 and 7.
So we then sit either 3 4 5 and Hawks R1
Draft night
1 Duursma becomes a Drug Rat
2 Lindsay becomes a Tiger
3 Sharp becomes an Eagle
4 Cumming becomes an Eagle
5 Schubert becomes an Eagle
Hawks R1 and trade up we get two of Grlj, Farrow, Le Ray, Baker or Ainsworth. Two will be there since we upgrade our R2 and Hawks R2 with a Suns pick
Shannon Hurn in charge of settling the young Crow Eaters to the Eagles Znedt
Oh, and I’m ignoring where club tied players go
He is on my radar. I don’t know about Massey. Is Schubert really on our radar?
I cannot see a situation where we take anyone other than Duursma and Sharp with pick 1 and 2 IF we hold them.Do we think Duursma is a flight risk?

There were no losers having a pick in the top 3 that year.It was both shoulders that saw him slide.
To be fair Hodge and Ball were bloody good players. Just levels below Judd
I remember another player being called a 'Rolls Royce' on the (now long deleted) 2014 AFL.com.au draft hub.Lindsay is a rolls royce for mine. Farrow is a good back up option.

Duggan is the player who you'd want with the ball if you need someone to control a situation. He'll pick the right time to slow things down, but also has the nous to be ready to take things on, tuck the ball under his arm and go for a run.
He showed this season he can play all over the ground: as a deep small defender, an attacking half-back, a free-wheeling wingman, and a pretty complete midfielder.

Luke Hodge won 2 Norm Smiths and is one of 4 players to win multiple Norm Smith Medals. There were no losers having a pick in the top 3 that year.
Using 20/20 hindsight I'd rate them as
=1 Judd/Hodge.
Judd had the higher peak but Hodge was still elite and maintained it for longer.
We all know how good Judd was at WC but Hodge has an equally impressive resume.
Hodge played the most VFL/AFL games of any #1 (346 games played), is the only number-one draft pick to win a Norm Smith Medal, is one of just three number-one draft picks to have won a premiership, and has won the most premierships of any number-one draft pick (4)
3. Ball.
Was still extremely good but would have been even better in a decent setup. Could actually have been the best of the 3, but being at StK didn't do him any favours.

well our need is the best playerTake the best player in the draft with 1, split 2 for needs basis.
If we take duursma and CDT I will throw up.Relatively big 2 weeks when it comes to our picks .
We need Port to slip, Carlton to win, Melbourne to win 1 game and Hawthorn to lose .
It's hard to know what our strategy could be til we know who has what
A part of me thinks that if it ends up as 1 and 2 to us 3 and 4 to Richmond and Essendon pick 5 and we can trade with Gold Coast for pick 6 then Sharp could slip to pick 6 if we take Duursma and CDT
Duursma
CDT
Lindsay
