Reading the banter between you two is like reqdi
That was 1992 in Sydney and yours truly was there.

I think it was 15 BDOs I attended. I took a break for a while in the latter 90s but when The Stooges were playing the BDO I came back to the fold and I think I went to every other year from then.

Ministry in 1995 were the best headliner - still the most powerful band I've ever witnessed live. They were even better the following night at Selinas.
Jesus Built My Hotrod still gets a regular play on my Spotify rotation.

Great track! They barely played it live in the 90s - there was some fallout with Gibby from The Butthole Surfers who did the lead vocals on the recording.

The Stooges in Melbourne was the BDO at Princes Park from memory?

I was in Canberra for a few years in the 90s so missed a lot of festivals. I do remember being blown away by the wall of sound from the Deftones at the Warped Tour in 99.

Year before? 2006 from memory was the Stooges, I was was in Sydney.

Tool headlined the only BDO I went to at PP (2007 I think).

Oh yeah. That was only the second time I saw them. I caught the Lateralus tour at the Tennis Centre.

I saw Tool twice on their Lateralus tour, the first time at Brixton Academy and the second time at the Perth Entertainment Centre.

The set list was better for their Perth show but the venue wasn't as good, not helped by having seats up in the nosebleed section.

Usually I'm not big on remixes but I've been awkwardly flirting with this Hotrod remix. I love it up until the 'these are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore...drag racing' bit.

Then it's a bit shit.

Yet another one to add to this thread. We're moving office, our inside sales girl was panicking because there's no loading zone at the new office and the girls on reception said there's nowhere for the removalists to park.

I went to the new place, spoke to the very attractive and charming young lady on the desk and what do you know, she said we can have two parks out the back for the removalists, she'd organise it all which she did.

As I told my work colleagues there's only one reason she did this, I'll just have to make sure I wear my wedding ring at the new office and hope attractive receptionist can keep it professional.

Update on this, said receptionist said my new hair cut looks nice, might have to make a complaint to HR.

Don't make a fuss in her final 3 months before retirement. You will just come off looking like the mean guy.

Might have something to contribute soon - or I’ll wake up tomorrow missing my kidney.

I’ve matched with a girl off Hinge who had a prompt about having 2 tickets to a black tie event and no date.

I have a suit and no plans tonight so responded.

We are now going to this ‘ballroom event’ tonight.

We are having a FaceTime shortly to discuss our history incase anyone asks.

Honestly happy I went.

Nice girl, great night and took her to breakfast this morning.

She does live 2 hours away from me and has a 5 year old I learnt, which at the age I’m getting to - might not be as much of an issue as it once could have been - the distance is definitely a tough one though.

Love knows no distance

Beckham used to drive 3 hours to visit Victoria when they started.
They only lived 5 minutes apart but he'd drive to Victoria Station and wait for her to arrive. After hours on the phone trying to explain she'd give up and catch a train to meet him.
