As much as Papley brings the head we all want to slap, he would actually improve Carlton. They're probably better off without Curnow. GW is a smart man. However, we are still going to have a lot of fun if Papley ends up at Carlton, it will take them to another level of flogness
They should go after Newcombe at Hawthorn and Voss at Freo, complete the set.

I predict he'll be sacked mid year.
Wright seems to be following a similar route he did with Pies. Clear out a few players, keep the coach on notice the following year & move him on if things don't drastically improve onfield.
