Have entered the Windhager race but he’s expected to stay.

Hawks had 11 years at about $1.7m
A year on the table for Harley.

Ryan medical at Saints this week. Unsure how it gets done.

Oscar expected to be band 1.

Not mentioned in Erasmus, Reidy (Blues), Ah Chee.

McVee no real pull to go back to Perth. Love how they switch this when it’s a country WA boy.

Motlop unknown, has offers but unsigned and not sure why.

Really not linked to many players which a little bit of a worry.

They did but nothing really mentioned. Cal said it will be interesting to see where his value lands, his age, his contract, his experience and then amount of courting they have done to get him to nominate them.

Riley said yep will be interesting as they don’t have a 2nd but have their futures.

They mentioned earlier Ah Chee is valued at the 15-25 pick range

Cal said he doesn’t think Aleer will cost much in a trade, could even be a PSD watch.

Offering 4 x $750k you’d hope he’s worth something.

If that happens that it's get done via PSD, or for a token late pick that is way less than he is worth due to PSD threat, then i hope that that is a wake up call to Pyke that the rules that he thinks apply and that all clubs adhere to in regards to treating other clubs with respect and not PSD'ing anybody don't apply anymore and nobody other than us is following those "rules".

I wonder what we will ask for for Chesser. I think Carlton will offer us a 3rd rounder or something fairly worthless like that. I think our initial negotiating position needs to be pick 15 - 20 and hope we eventually get something in the 20's for him.

The Saints won't give up Dodson.

We're more likely to be able to cut Heath into a deal.

This is fantastic. eaglespremiers does Jimmy know his path to AFL footy at the Saints is now even longer? Offer him good money for a second year player and a two year contract extension and get him to commit and link up with Harley, Noah and Jobe.

Yeah you’d hope we can turn that into a player.

The line from the club is we don’t want to keep getting younger.

25+ players not on the list next year.
Gov, Sheed, Jamieson, Petch, Ryan*, Hunt and also maybe a 23*yo Chesser.

Not many strong links to players besides Starcevich and that sounds 50/50. But as we have seen like the Harley contract where we broke it ourselves, we clearly don’t have many leaks in this department. Agents are normally a big player in the leaks though.

Will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

Two early second rounders that can get us up to Ports pick while keeping the Hawks pick and our second rounder? Sure i guess could have a discussion. Though i would prefer Chesser.

If somebody really wants to go it is hard to force them to stay. And whenever you trade somebody you probably will probably get back less than you want. It's not so much a case of "happy" to take a second rounder as it is a case of that is not so far away from the price we think is fair that we can't live with it.

"Far" more is a stretch

Ryan averaged more tackles, inside 50s, contested possessions and metres gained than Ah Chee this year. Same goal average in a much much much worse team. Goal assists almost identical too. Ah Chee just on disposals and surprisingly marks

There's one year between them in age and one is contracted.
