What if Weddle had to just kick to the man on the mark? Would he miss by 20m like that? Don't know why players can't pick a spot behind the goals and kick to it.

The latest one I’ve heard of that works quite well apparently, is to pick a person in the crowd about 30 mtrs to the side that’s walking towards the goals, and pretend they’re on a lead to a space behind the goal umpire.

No, it’s the 61-41 inside 50 count that is the Hawks problem.

You see, umpires keep a team in the game when they’re being dominated, but they’re not the reason for leading a game when you’re dominating.

GWS were absolutely dominated on the scoreboard. Umpires are not always gonna favour the Hawks despite what people think.
