Handy part is it’s only two goals. Going to script so far in terms of Freo’s contested work lifting them over the top, and also this genius strategy of not having to ever dispose of the footy legally and being able to request a free simply by batting your eyelids.

AFL provide lip service to the W comp but are holding the league back so massively from what it could be.

The standard of grounds, for a start, would be such a quick fix but the league won’t put them in better venues until the crowds lift, and the crowds won’t lift until they stop forcing them to play on mudpits with zero protection from the wind.

At least they’ve stopped the ridiculous 4pm on a Wednesday scheduling this year, and generally put on a normal footy fixture.
