Just depends how highly we value Sharp. SA recruiters seem to think Cumming is the better of the 2 though.

Injured, plus needs to work on his endurance. But still has amazing defensive pressureWhy would a modern midfielder who can do it all slip to 7th in a shallow draft?
I hope we're looking at Blake Thredgold, super athletic KPD who can nullify and intercept

There's been some mention of it over on the D&T board a few weeks back.Where was this said?
The point is you should have to use a first round pick - Asterix and Qs approaches address this.Get rid of the discount and teams can only use a maximum of 2 picks to match points.

Agree, who would you take if you were drafting a KPD in this draft?Good shoutout .
He is very underrated and the shortage of genuine KPD may well see him come off the board earlier than most expect.
Would be nice if he could grow a cm or as his Championships heigh from memory was 194cm.
Going forward I think the next gen of KPP need to be 197 plus.
The father-son and nga problems and the draft compromise would go away in a simple change.
Any club tied prospects can only be matched if
1. The matching club holds a pick within 3 places of the bid is in the top 5
2. The matching club holds a pick within 5 places of the bid is in the top 6 to 10
3. The matching club holds a pick within 10 places of the bid is in the top rest of the first round
4. Enough points to match a bid with no discount for remaining bids
If it is this year, Lions have to manufacture a top 4 pick or near that for Annables. Suns would likely need a top 4 pick for Uwland plus a top 10 pick for Patterson. Hence it is fate to say that they have first dibs at them. Otherwise, the bidding club gets their man.
Who says no? The length of the first round would be 18 to 20 picks (excluding FA).
Free Agency compensation should only start after the first round.
I've got a bit of a thing for the really athletic, competitive, versatile defenders who can blanket talls and smalls .....Broad, J Henry, D Grimes, Lester, Ginbey, Z Guthrie etc. Super handyGood shoutout .

How does Harry Dean compare 193cm is he just going to be an intercepting third tall?Good shoutout .

Supposedly rated top 10.

Yeah, he quite often played at half back for his line breaking and ball use.A bit more perspective on that last statement. Watson kicked 14 goals in 4 state games in his draft year playing as a small fwd which is elite.
Watson played in a number of different roles for the Ranges where he averaged 20 disposals a game, often playing behind the ball. You also need to take into account the fact school footy affects the amount of games played and goals scored when comparing players.
Before his recent hot streak of form, we had a few indications from Robey that there was some latent talent there just waiting to break out. Back in round 14 he had a near BOG performance in helping Eastern get up against the Chargers. Playing 90% high half forward with only a brief midfield cameo right at the end, Robey used his endurance and size to roam up to the wings, taking marks and getting heavily involved in the play, throwing his big frame into contested situations. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of his performance was his ability to use his size, pace and physicality to apply some ferocious defensive pressure on the opposition.
did you miss the clean snap on the left with his second goal?Has no left side to his game at all. This will lead to his disposal when caught needing to use his left by hand or foot being very sloppy as he tries to handball with his right hand to escape pressure. Has a lot of other very good afl traits however.
Yeah I saw it but I’ve also seen him get himself into trouble countless times this year avoiding his left side.did you miss the clean snap on the left with his second goal?
Gaff you say!Yeah I saw it but I’ve also seen him get himself into trouble countless times this year avoiding his left side.
I'll repeat what I said over on the draft board:

I'll repeat what I said over on the draft board:
"Some pretty incoherent choices in there tbh.
Duff-Tytler being selected at CHF is downright idiotic. The kid played three regular Talent League games for the year and kicked 5 goals in total.
Further, whoever was on the selection panel and decided to leave Tom Evans out of the starting back 6 needs to be moved on for next year. That's just hugely embarrassing. I think he was categorically better than Lindsay or Fincher this year and he had more total disposals than both of them combined this season at Talent League.
Riley Onley (who I really rate) only played two games total (rounds 1 and 2) averaging 25.5 disposals and yet is named as the starting centre. There is no way he should be selected for the Coates Talent team of the year.
This is overall just a really really poor attempt by the selectors and should be instantly dismissed by anyone with a modicum of understanding about this league."

CDT doesn't get selected as the ruck. Says everything you need to know. He isn't a ruck. He might well be key forward in the future but like you said 3 games and 5 goals doesn't say pick me at 1 or 2.Evans will be great for who ever gets him. Worked his butt off to get to this year.![]()

Not sure of these guys credentials but they have Evans going in the 30s. Someone posted this on the main draft board. I’m a big fan as well
