Charlie played very well. Would be huge if he can do that again next week

Going to be very tough to beat you next week.Well done lions, i said lions would win today, great team!
Whatever. Winners are grinners! All the vic commentators complaining
Vic bias commentators were cheering on Elliot to be the hero. Was a perfect spoil by Starce and should have been commentated like that. Brilliant piece of defending, spoiling the ball before making limited contact with the player.
There is genuinely no redeeming qualities about him. He always has an agenda, he tries to get guys suspended all the time. Acts like he is judge, jury and executioner. Is as arrogant as they come. Seeing Browny giving him a whack was almost the best part of the game.Ralphy absolutely hates us with a passion that he doesn't seem to even try and hide.
What is it with that guy ? He seems a bit thick.

I don’t think he is that fast, he is quick definitely but he reacts faster than just about everyone on the field so is at full pace while guys are still getting going.Nick Daicod so fast but no left foot
Full credit - Jamie’s mark was awesome!Well done. We threw the kitchen sink at you and you were too good. 3 GFs in a row, what a team.
Proud of my pies but clearly outclassed by a rampant lions team. Jamie’s mark and Ashcroft’s goal an absolute highlight.
Please beat the cats, will be fully on your side.
All the best peoples.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the guys that shrugged him off so hard were big guys but both were similar sized. One of the highlights of the night though. Can we get the broken tackles stat for attempted tackles by little Nicky tonight?
It’s not a conversation at this point. Pretty sure Mal said as much on social media recently. If you did a combined team from 01-03 and 23-25. I don’t think Mal Michael is at FB.
Harris ***** Andrews.
The other thing that was impressive to me is that even though I know Morris is an impressive talent I wasn't getting carried away like some others.
But he's now executing exquisite smart plays in big moments in big games. The guy's a gun.
Fair call, just would be handy having Pendles, particularly when we were getting smashed from clearances. Credit due, Lions have far better depth. Not just that mark but his constant harassing, tackling and pressure whenever someone near him had the ball.
4 tall forward line next year once Hippy is back I think. Ty can play the Ah Chee role on a dangerous 3rd tall.
I know you’re trying to be gracious in defeat but maybe next time don’t make excuses when you are trying to be. Losing peddles may have hurt, those two guys might not have been fit BUT we were playing a ruckman as a tall forward with a 19 and a 20 year old as the other two talls because Hipwood is out. We were missing our captain who is a 2x Brownlow medalist, 2 of our best 6 defenders + Coleman. We lost our best winger during the game.
If the front on contact was the only thing that they could say was wrong then every time someone runs with the flight off the ball, takes the mark but crashes into someone leading to the ball it would be a free kick every single time.It was lovely watching Browny put Ralphy back in the box -
"he had no eyes for the footy"
"replay it mate, now where's he looking Ralphy - get your glasses on mate" hahaha
"chop of the arms and didn't touch the footy"
"there is no chop, he goes straight up and causes the spoil. Watch it again where his fist meets the footy"
the only thing Browny conceded is front on contact. I'd question that too, where is he supposed to go while trying to spoil running a straight line - just put his fist there and make his body disappear? what kind of idiotic argument is this.
Ralphy visibly looked pretty grumpy after that, looks like he never gets questioned on these things and Browny just smacked him on live tv.
He was so good when he came on. Didn’t make a bad decision. If he can get his tank up to AFL winger standard he will be a weapon.Bruce Reville- did not fumble or make a mistake all night. Man we bat deep.
Salt pills to help with hydration. And tonight Cam was still sick. Has been all week. Was vomiting on field and drinking red bull, no doze and something else i can't remember shots to be able to play out the game.
He is stupendous. Hasn't reached his peak yet.
There is one where something similar happens to Rayner as well IIRC.Rewatching now. 7min left in third quarter (just before Wash's volley goal) and we have a deep forward entry where Howe runs toward Morris (away from the ball) and wraps him up giving no chance to have a clean look at the ball.
I actually think the Elliott free was there (looked too obvious live even if the replays show it was clean) but you can't tell me that wasn't worse and wasn't even mentioned in the telecast.
I don't know how to do clips of GIFs but if anyone can I think it would be interesting for comment.
i don’t think Daicos is over-rated. He’s a bloody good footballer. The problem is there’s not enough good footballers around him in that team. Finally, Nick Daicos, 3 handballs in the last quarter. Commentators were raving about every little thing he did all night. Such an overrated player, I loved when Wilmot shrugged him off with ease.
Full credit - Jamie’s mark was awesome!
Yes.That was Darcy Gardiner’s greatest game for the club. He was sensational.
