Just can’t get a handle on it in the midfield. We know we’re miles off that top tier group, Melbourne looking the best of the non-North elite clubs, good day for learning a bit from them.

Hoping someone lifts to go with Roberts so she doesn’t have to break two or three tackles every time, need her cherry ripe for the Pies/GWS fixtures coming up.

Trying to work out my favourite moment from that half.

It’s a toss up between Kavanagh kicking it the wrong way out of centre clearance, or a kick from the goal square landing back in the goal square and being paid a mark.

Glad that family commitments are forcing me to miss this one. Seen enough of these beltings from the men’s side this year.

Must be an immensely frustrating experience to be an AFLW player having to be umpired by these absolute crabs
Go play on a windy mud pit and also the rules change moment to moment, seemingly depending on if you’re the home side or not.

Just a step too far. Also letting ourselves down badly here.
Hope Daisy gives them all a bake.
This kind of performance is unacceptable.

You’d want to lay down a marker that gets the team to a point where this is unacceptable, but honestly with the way the W is so massively tiered and the gulf between the North/next tier/the rest, I find it very difficult to be moved by this with where we’re at in our journey.

Need to close the gap over time, sure, but Melbourne on the road or North anywhere on planet earth…meh. Not like they’re not having a crack, they’re just massively outgunned. +20 in tackles, +4 in tackles inside 50 despite being doubled up for i50s. Working hard, just not nearly enough talent to take on the top sides, which we know.

Freo lost to North 114-14 and then beat us in a tussle, the gulf between the haves and have nots is way too big to draw conclusions from games like this.

Getting flogged. Can't take an overhead mark to save ourselves. Not reading the wind. Dees a class above

If we swing the axe, do you reckon we bring in the one with Glandular Fever or the one on crutches from the extended bench?
Might be time for Norah Long and Lucia Grego to have a run
