Wow miss a free kick and you want out

The next best place to get a free after Collingwood is probably a hardwick coached side.

JUH is so interesting do you blow 800k just for the one year remaining on his contract to see if it would work?

His issues are a mile long but there surely will be a club that takes that chance and cap hit.

Amiss from Freo also seems like he's looking for somewhere new doesn't like being third string and if Sydney we're looking for a key forward probably best to start there.
You would think for JUH to find a suitor the Dogs will end up needing to pay a large chunk of his salary to get him off the books.

They're not paying a large chunk of his salary. He's not causing them any trouble, why pay for him to perhaps turn it around at another club. And no club is giving up draft collateral for him, so he'll stay on their list unless a club is prepared to pay his salary.

***** Tales from the Brownlow 2025 - FBKP Edition ******

-The crows lads there were fantastic, TT and Keays were absolute gentleman and happy to chat openly
-Bitterly disappointed about finals, Worrell in particular said they are genuinely angry about it and plan to have huge preseason.
-Keays a big Man United fan :$
-Asked if we were 'confident of getting any players' and specifically asked about Petracca, they didn't give me anything on Trac but said VERY confident of Ah Chee.
-Admitted playing group got a bit distracted by Izaks suspension, they have privately rallied around him to give him full support
-Dillon read the votes out insanely quick
-TonyModra still an absolute Legend!
-Despite being an absolute Nicks hater, he was absolutely super nice to chat too and also admitted could have done things differently form a coaching perspective....
-Played a few hands of blackjack with Hugo Garcia from St Kilda... Legend of a young man!
-Harley Reid looked VERY well refreshed by end of night :$ (Shuestar13 )

Anyone else think that the Petracca comes with a bit of risk given his age and serious injury?

It's good to see that we're chasing a high profile player especially given he fits what we need, but I'm just concerned this may backfire and linger for a few years.

Is it just me being negative?

All comes down to what it costs to get him.

Personally, I don't see any club picking up his full salary in 2026, not 1 including the Bulldogs if they can figure out a way to get that done.

Whether he's causing them trouble or not. Well, I think you'll probably find the key people at the WB might have a difference of opinion to you there. No inside word or anything, but if you have a Pick 1 who doesn't feel like he can rock up and meet training standards, then that's a MAJOR problem in my book!

That's what I mean, there will be a club surely to blow 800k for one year on him just to see if it works would cost a 4th rounder
