This is how I see itGood problem to have but how do we fit all of McVee, Walker and Simpson into the backline? This was our backline mix in the finals game:
Ryan Chapman Pearce
Cox Worner Banfield
Some of my psychotic rambling:
- McVee is starting b22
- If we play Walker it would let Clark off the chain which could be very damaging
- Can Chapman be moved to a wing?
- Is Worner b22?
- Simpson is a gun in the making but can we fit him in?
- Could Clark do some stints in the midfield?
Am I welcome here Snuff?Uhmahgawd we're doing something...
Now I have a reason to listen to trade radio and laugh at any suggestion we include pick 11 only for it to cost pick 11 and a future 2nd on the last day
He'll take either Worner or Banfield's place in the back line (most likely Banfield as that was a stop gap).Do people see McVee filling a half back or wing role or both?

I would add that the Suns, and Lions will trade out their first picks for later picks.Pick 29 and a few swaps should do the trick considering what we got for ed Langdon
no, he's not. McVee has a lot more value due to age. Extremely highly rated.Alex Neale-Bullen went for 28.
He’s a better player than McVee
Nah m8 ANB far superior.no, he's not. McVee has a lot more value due to age. Extremely highly rated.
No way worner should still be in our team let alone the starting 18 with everyone fit. This is how I see it
Back 6
Ryan Pearce Clark
McVee Cox Worner
Simpson starting on the bench.
Chapman moved to the Wing.
BnF finishes for McVee.
2024 - 7th
2023 - 9th
He had an injury interrupted preseason this year, but two top 10 finishes when Melbourne were a good side is very impressive. He is a great pick up for us.
Also, he is out of contract so we only need offer something half reasonable. Pick 29 and that is it.
to be fair, I've been spot on with trade value since Luke Jackson. It won't be your 2nd, under no circumstances. It'll be your pick 11. and that's still a bargain.Nah m8 ANB far superior.
Your evaluation of your currrnt players has no relevance in these discussions
Our 2nd is it . End of
didn't your mob say you'd get picket but not overpay? The best thing about a Melbourne player requesting a trade here is the many danster pearlers.
No way worner should still be in our team let alone the starting 18 with everyone fit.
He’s handy depth AT best

Draper. If Chapman moves to the wing, who takes the 7th defender spot?

I agree with your ANB comments given McVees age. But 11 straight with nothing coming back? You happy to stick with that?to be fair, I've been spot on with trade value since Luke Jackson. It won't be your 2nd, under no circumstances. It'll be your pick 11. and that's still a bargain.

Does he has a life? You are embarrassing
Look, Walls is a Goober when it comes to trading so im sure they'll pay whatever is asked for but at least argue in good faith. They offered him a 2 year deal, how is THAT highly valued?no, he's not. McVee has a lot more value due to age. Extremely highly rated.
This feels like a future fourth trade. Melbourne should be grateful to get anything for a OOC former rookie pick.Look, Walls is a Goober when it comes to trading so im sure they'll pay whatever is asked for but at least argue in good faith.
