If he nominates Adelaide and they try to low-ball, I wouldn't be entirely against us just throwing stupid money at one of their players just to be petty (similar to what the Dogs did with the Griffen/Boyd trade all those years ago).

Hell, we're barely paying anybody over the next few years. Wonder if somebody like Fogarty would enjoy playing in front of 15-20k crowds for a million+ a year. Why not chuck Sid Draper some coin and tell him he can be a walk-up starter from Day 1.

Yes, spending less than a week on the DTFA board has turned me into this, but I'm just be happy for their fans to be disappointed after the all the carry-on during the Rankine saga (and the Quaynor booing etc).

Honestly (trying to minimise my bias here), I reckon he'd be much happier on the Gold Coast. Less pressure, better coach, better list, doesn't have to come in and be the midfield saviour, and doesn't have to deal with the psychotic South Australian media fishbowl analysing his every move/facial expression on and off the field.

The media loves to talk about 'Brand Petracca' ad nauseum, but honestly, I don't think he likes talking about footy all that much. It's his 9-5, but a lot of his passion seems to be elsewhere nowadays (post-injury, particularly).

Crows are in no mans land neither being the favorite club, nor the one most likely to get a deal done.

Agreed... and Tracca is a family man here in Vic.

He will be on the first plain/train/and autobus back to Melbourne city, as soon as his GCSuns contract is over.
