Can see us doing **** all now until the last hour of trade period. Then saying we achieved what we set out to do while patting ourselves on our back.
So lets fast forward to 6:30 pm next Wednesday evening.

He can do other things that don’t including folding on Trac/Oli. It’s good that he isn’t folding so far but hopefully he has other things on the boil that are proactive and not reactive (forced by players wanting out).

Don't think he can walk and chew bubble gum.

Wow Leek Aleer burnt by St Kilda. Clubs going cold at the last minute, is this a new thing?

Seeing clubs take back some power. Also with VFL threads - Oliver/Steele

Pardon intrusion, what’s the plan draft wise for Melbourne? BPA? Not too covered in Melbournes draft history but feel like there’s a precedent for moving up the board. Will there be targets on 2, 4, 5/6 etc? Any players you guys really want?

No idea, prob hinges a lot on our trade with GC.

Originally don’t think we rated this years crop so will only take from if forced I imagine.

Is it solely non-Melbourne fans magic-ing up the on-paper fit of CDT for Melbourne? Feel like that’s really the stand out option given (no offence I admit I’ve not watched heaps of Melb) an ancient Gawn and an average looking forward line?

Reckon they got the abacus out and the financials were a little sketchy after Geelong got pulled up.

I would say so, considering we have Max Heath coming in and 3 young “super exciting” key forwards in JvR/Jefferson and Kentfield already.

His day consists of: reading the paper, scoffing his face, do a 5 minute media interview, sleep under his desk then go home.

Then on the last day he takes some coke and gets shit done.

Like a lot of Uni students.

I take those speech marks are very purposeful lol

Just a common way to describe them by our list manager. We also have Petty and Mihocek also.

We probably need small forwards more with Pickett in midfield now and Spargo gone, or even a medium forward/utility with Melksham on his last legs, Trac gone and Joel Smith gone recently.

I think Ryan's a bit overrated based on actual output (25 goals in a season once since 2020), but this is a pretty yuck deal for WC

I see people are shitting on Lamb for being bullish on JVR and Jefferson.. maybe he knows now we have a coach in [PLAYERCARD]Steven King[/PLAYERCARD] who will actually give the forwards a chance with gameplan and delivery inside 50, unlike Goodwin who cost us flags by never fixing that issue.

I'm still optimistic on JVR, he has shown glimpse of what he can do. Jefferson not so much. It still feels like we picked him up because we needed a forward and he was the best floating around. I get forwards take time, I'm just not convinced from what we've seen.

Humphrey to ask for a trade to Melbourne by Thursday, I just sold him a caravan.

Come on, our belief in the caravan system is on the line here.

The Magician just isn't a key forward, needs some savvy coaching to find his right style up forward. I also still think JVR will be good, needs some grippo on those hands though.
