No issue with this. AFL standard mids make an impact early. Ted coming from a long way back and progressing slowly.View attachment 2462704
The Club thanks Ted Clohesy for his contribution to the Cats, with the midfielder told he would not be offered a contract for 2026.
Looks like we plan to draft 3Don't think anybody had the KMF delisting and re-rookie on the bingo card... Does that change anything for us with list spots?

I just hope we are looking to rookie KMF because we still think he has a chance to make it, and not just because we are doing it to save face a bit or because of minimum salary cap amount.
In the end we prob just needed to open up one space for a draftee.
Surely not but you are right there has been no mention of him.Unless we're re-signing Wiltshire
Not sure anyone had that on their bingo card
I understand that.If we just delist him we would have to pay out his contract so may as well take him back as a rookie if he is still there.
Going to be re-rookied assuming someone else doesn't grab him, got a Brownlow vote on debut so he has talent and showed it in the VFL, but probably needs another big AFL pre-season before you see what his level is.Hey cats fans, what's the go with big boy George Stevens? Is he just not suited to the modern game, a bad runner or something? Cheers
Yeah you’d think he was the easiest delist out of everyone.Unless we're re-signing Wiltshire

He played a cracking debut against a lower level midfield in Richmond and got first hands on the ball as well as hit targets with his great kicking. But his running capability does seem to be a bit of an issue. Hopefully this can be trained over time. I believe we are commited to taking him back as a rookie.Hey cats fans, what's the go with big boy George Stevens? Is he just not suited to the modern game, a bad runner or something? Cheers
Stevens, Clohesy, Wiltshire, KMF and Pike all need delisting.

He has a tank, actually ran a good time trial even his junior year.Going to be re-rookied assuming someone else doesn't grab him, got a Brownlow vote on debut so he has talent and showed it in the VFL, but probably needs another big AFL pre-season before you see what his level is.
Needs a tank, great contested played but he can look slow.
Personally I'm surprised with the Clohesy delisting. I thought he was the best player outside the 22. He's as good as Stevens but more versatile and more speed. He's also a tackling machine. He was doing everything right to get a game. I don't get it. Maybe he pissed off the wrong person. I guarantee he will be picked up by another club.
Wiltshire showed glimpses of real ability. You'd think they'd have wanted to see more than that by now since he's just turned 23. But maybe they're going to give him another year.
Surely if he was getting delisted they'd have announced it today.
Honestly keeping Wiltshire probably surprises me less than keeping Bews. And Pike is the ultimate survivor!
VFL midfield is looking pretty poor at the moment.

The article on the Cats website says "committed to THEM" when talking about Stevens and KMF.
Clohesy will get picked up by someone, wonder if someone grabs Stevens before we do.
