Very averageWicks, Bice, McInerney, Roberts, Campbell, Lloyd, Bowman and Kyle can all play off and through half back

Maybe you should look into the detail and not just the end result.Something is very wrong with the system when the Suns can finish 6th, trade 3 firsts away in a deal for Petracca, and still are able to match picks 2, 5, 17 and 18.
We might cement the Bowman switch now, with medium/smaller tall forward options in King, McNamara, Chamberlain.Lloyd was moved away from the backline, Cunningham is more lockdown (very different player to Carmichael), same as Rampe.
We have Roberts, Wicks, Bice marked as defenders moving forward along with Blakey at HBF, this isn't including Kyle who can play there (although I think he ends up as a midfielder) or Bowman who looked a natural down back in the reserves and Serong who is a third tall type.
They had to let a number of players go to get the picks - its not like they sacrificed nothing.Something is very wrong with the system when the Suns can finish 6th, trade 3 firsts away in a deal for Petracca, and still are able to match picks 2, 5, 17 and 18.
Are you referring to the 2nds coming back or something else? In any event, I don’t think the end result is a good one from a broader comp perspective, even allowing for our support of northern academies.Maybe you should look into the detail and not just the end result.

Of course we will probably have 2 live picks now so who knows who we go.
Club really needs to get into the business of tanking the academy players.
Pull them out of 18s champs with injuries etc
Sydney are very bullish on him as a prospect and there were some reasons for his form this year.Yeah I think people are forgetting that our other Academy pick will likely start his career off half-back. Wonder if King could end up there too.
King is the perfect example of thisSydney are very bullish on him as a prospect and there were some reasons for his form this year.
Unlikely, either tall midfielder or key forward (depends on development).

We traded out 1st rounders in 25, 26 and 27 to get Curnow. Plus Hayward. Are you referring to the 2nds coming back or something else? In any event, I don’t think the end result is a good one from a broader comp perspective, even allowing for our support of northern academies.
So if they picked him you still would have no confidence then. There is nothing about our draft history that fills me with your confidence.
It's not a guarantee. Why ? If their preference is to stay at the swans , this guarantees a pathway.
No different to what vic clubs are doing with instructing players to interview poorly

And managed to get a first round pick in 2025.
yep.A heap to play out on that trade.
Is that why they didn't throw him in the middle by chance?
I'd rather we just take the obvious option, rather than try to be clever. So if they picked him you still would have no confidence then.
