It was all about trying to finesse the draft to get both Farrow and Sharp.

Rosa has played a blinder here.

After hearing X interview, I think taking the football nerd over taking the party lad was the right move. They were close enough in ability for me where character / personality is a differentiator.

I think he's an excellent pickup, having a quick-ish 188cm midfielder who is a good kick and strong overhead will be great once he's ready to make the move from defense
Haha I have this fear of ****ing this type of player up developmentally.

good to add size and kicking and halfback who could play midfield in the future.

I see him as similar to the Demons [PLAYERCARD]Trent Rivers[/PLAYERCARD], will play first season or two at half back then could move into midfield if needed.

Something to be said that he was the best player in WA.

The top WA player is rarely a miss. Being the best player in a footy state is a big tick.

Last 10 years of the first WA player who was picked:

Bo Allan (TBD)
Daniel Curtin
Reuben Ginbey
Jye Amiss
Logan McDonald
Liam Henry
[PLAYERCARD]Jordan Clark[/PLAYERCARD]
[PLAYERCARD]Aaron Naughton[/PLAYERCARD]
Sam Petroski-Seton (miss)
[PLAYERCARD]Callum Ah Chee[/PLAYERCARD]

Looks like it's been amiss just once which is pretty good odds
