if lloyd and rampe can perform at 80% of their peak we will make PF at a minimum

logan can take as long as he needs so long as we get amartey fit across the season. Amartey + curnow is more than enough, we are probably too tall with logan in there too

didnt errol come 1st last year in the time trial? wouldve hoped hes over his ankle and would be top 3

Weird though because they hadn't started running at 9.45 AM - they took off more like 10 AM. Also, based on the times being called out as they crossed the line, 6.21 isn't quite accurate. I would say he was actually a little faster than that. [One of the S&C staff was calling out the seconds as they approached the finish line and kept calling as they all ran over i.e. "6:14, 6:15, 6:16 etc.]

In his presser (I've posted link in the media thread) Mills said that the boys who did the time trial a couple of weeks ago didn't have to do it again. He also said that, if they had, then Caiden Cleary would have been the winner!

Incidentally I did see Coxy tell one of the players to get ready to do it again. They said "for real?!" and he said "yeah" before, a moment later, saying "nah".

I went to watch the training today, some random observations:
  • Logan looks much bulkier in his upper body, I am pretty sure he took full part in the main training, both skills and running
  • Hayden looks leaner than last year
  • The new draftees joined the main group for most of the skill trainings, but then they trained as a mini group on handballs (I captured it in clips 0009 and 0013)
  • Will Edwards showed some completely unexpected agility when collecting cleanly a stray pass pretty just above the grass and away from his body, without loosing balance. All the players who were around and saw it stopped to cheer and clap. It was impressive
  • There were some running around the oval drills as part of the main training, Corey was by far the best out of all participating, looks like Jesse has to work on his endurance, he wasn't in the leading groups...
  • Harry Kyle was making an effort to kick of both feet during the drills, his field kicking was pretty good
  • Clips to follow

And here are the clips

WIll Edwards with the Bill Knowles move.
Riak and Will in that photo look ripped.
Is the leaner McLean an indication of more ruck time and a greater role across the ground in a secondary sense as that outlet marker across all lines.
