I still feel like we're the cucks in that arrangement.
Eh. Dude's one of those types who can easily hold his own at VFL level but can be pushed out at AFL level. He clearly didn't see it that way, now he gets a VFL contract instead of an AFL one. I don't reckon it's that bad. Cucked would be making the Horney One MC at the B&F

The most recent reported average for Aussie men is 179cm but that data behind that is not extremely robust. A bigger survey a decade previously suggested 176cm, but 178cm in 18-24 range. So a 182cm young midfielder is likely about 0.5 standard deviations above population average. This suggests around 1/3 of the young men in this country would be bigger than Jackson. Even allowing for a skewed distribution in a football player only set he is likely roughly at the median for a midfielder. How tall do we think is big enough for a mid? 186? 188? 190?

Did he not go in The draft RF?

Bloody Oath, anyone who can kick, defend at some height at pace should be a priority.

Any relation to Bruce?
He was the biggest surprise for me along with Blake Oodshorn-Bennier (who is now training with Port).

We have zero list spots. Can always get a closer look if they are in our VFL program however.
Had a feeling Rory might be unlucky when ZeroHanger boys said he was 50/50 to get drafted due to lack of speed.
Pretty brutal. Noah HH and Dahlitz as well I thought would've been worth a rookie pick for one of the teams.

North Melbourne has landed former Tiger Thomson Dow ahead of the 2026 VFL season.

A classy midfielder, Dow played 45 AFL games for Richmond across his six-year stint at Punt Road.

"We are thrilled to announce the signing of Thomson from the Richmond Football Club," VFL head coach [PLAYERCARD]Adam Marcon[/PLAYERCARD] said.

"He comes to us with a really strong reputation and AFL experience that will be invaluable to our group.

"He will be a strong presence for us through the midfield with his run and clearance work and we look forward to seeing him in the blue and white next year."

Strong signing. His VFL form has been pretty solid for a long period of time now.

Would love to see another Ruckmen recruited for the VFL

Gollant could be an MSD option. We’ve had strong interest in the past in getting him on our AFL list.
