And they are still morally in front. Ours is not to question the higher plane they reckon the game on.

The deck looks pretty damn good to bat on. This coming innings for them will be interesting to see if they play to the conditions or stick to Bazball no matter what.

Yeah it's one of the weirder innings I've seen, lots of 50s and no hundreds.

They were talking about that on ABC radio. Wondering if it was the highest score by an Australian side with no player making a hundred but apparently we once made 500+ against West Indies with someone (forgotten who) getting out on 99. No other player reached a ton.

As much as this result was what I wanted, can’t help feeling a bit disappointed with England.
Such a capitulation after all the swagger, against a very under strength Australian team.

They have spent 4 years preparing for this series.

The Bazball regime was created and aim to be built to win in Australia.

We have no Cummins, Hazlewood, Lyon this test.

A rookie opener and a number 5 who has moved up the top along with a keeper playing as a specalist bat.

If England were ever going to do anything it had to be the start of this series.

I still dont think it will be 5-0 because we have flaws in a lot spots. But if England keep batting 40 overs then we will win in a canter.
