Training Saints preseason 2026

In an 18 team competition we seem to play Essendon in the preseason a hell of a lot.

It's in Ballarat. I wonder if they will show up?

I don’t know that Max, Ro, Sharman and Owens can all play in the forward line at the same time can they ?

I think they can, Owens can play more as an oversized small with his contested work and Sharman is a natural third tall. Plus with 5 on the bench they might not play together all that much anyway

He was looking really good but the body has let him down. Probably a better player than Stocker on pure talent but is very fragile.

The key word here is Fragile , he looks like he can play on the small amount i have seen of him but I'm not sure id want to rely on him staying on the park

Let's hope Flanders is 3 times the player he was at Suns

Or just the 2024 Flanders. That was an elite season. If he plays like that again he's easily in our top 5 players.

Watching that Nas match package someone put up, some absolute freakish stuff from Sharman seemed to get momentum back our way. Playing with a less accountable defender could make Sharman an even better player. Owens and Windy getting to an age and experience level that should elevate them too. King and Ryan in there should make us a pretty potent front 6.

like Collingwood, the Dons are another team that we rarely play 2x in a h/a season, they think if it's a pre-season game, no one will notice how ****ed the fixture is

further more to this, how ****ed is it that the Bulldogs who get paid to play there, play at home, whilst 6 other Melbourne clubs are made to go and pay the penance for it

In that article there's a picture at the bottom with five players and a bunch of kids from Fish Creek school. The change in Darcy Wilson is awesome. He looks like a young man now, not a kid. Really solid looking. Hoping for a massive breakout year from him.
