It’d be about exposure

Speaking to a Oneils rep he confirmed the deal was rejigged to allow us to sell the HJ space because we approached them and told them how much we could get (not something oneils could pay)

SANFL clubs ask the same but are told no way because without that prime position there’s not enough exposure to make the sponsorship worthwhile. But AFL the logo on the bottom is enough.

Logo on the shoulder for women’s probably same logic but an In Between outcome - club still sell prime real estate and supplier still gets a prime visible spot too

Id hope AFL don’t start allowing that to be another sponsor logo position too. This shows they could but it’s just be greedy. Women need all the revenue they can get to be viable so makes sense to create more sponsor opportunities even if they end up becoming a billboard (Like SANFL/local teams with massive logo across their stomach)

It appears to me, it's only the AFL prostituting Clubs branding with monstrous logos to sacrifice their Club identities .....it's just my POV

Look at the image size variance between the NFL logo dimensions and the AFL's .....please tell me what benefit does a whopping AFL logo on Guernsey's provide ??

They are as boring as pro sports gear gets...
