What about at least a quarterAs much as losing two home finals is a sackable offence, I don't see any other coach winning those games given our lack of midfield and missing Rankine.

Given the unusual circumstances of this year....where we finished top yet went out in straight sets....I would have said to Nicks...you get an extension on the Monday morning after you win your first final. Simple. What would happen if Nicks had no extension and had a similar year to '25?
You think they wouldn't extend him for multiple years pre finals?
They would say, 'We'll discuss it when the season finishes'?
Doubt it. We'd see a multiple year extension pre finals.
I seem to have tripped into the pessimist thread

You no read this manI can't see what you're quoting for obvious reasons.

We were....and that's a coaching issue. The coach needs to be able to get his team back on track.Yep. We were deer in the headlights after the Rankine issue!

If he's backing this he should be accountable for the results.Does it matter?
It seems like Balme is a big picture guy. Knows how football clubs work and can establish best practices whilst also coming in with fresh eyes and making changes.
Doubt he needs to be clocking in at 9:00am and leaving at 5:00pm with an hour lunch break to be effective.

not the poster you were quoting.Because theyre stupid is the underlying premise? You think if we have a year similar to '25 that they wouldn't extend before finals?
Fantasy stuff.

Well, that's pretty definitiveHe's either the guy, or he's not the guy.
You should write Neil Balme a strongly worded letter .....tell him he doesn't have a clue what he's doing
So the great white hope has let you down
