Yeah technology always assumes tennis ball bounce and I dont think it takes pace into account enough. I dont think it rises that much in a 1m space from pad to wickets.

Technology is baselined in real deliveries at real pace, and extrapolates on these based on matching the pitch bounce, the age of the ball, the pace of the delivery and the height of point of delivery in the database.
It doesn’t guess.
