One slight issue with your post.
Carlton didn’t play in the 1985 grand final
Charlie and Will look like they've just been told there's no Santa Claus.

Fair enough I didn’t proofread your slightly confusing post. Never seen a game review before of a reserves game from 40 years ago.One slight issue with your post: the original post refers to the Reserves game. The Reserves grand final was Carlton vs Hawthorn. That's what my post was talking about. Col Kinnear was the Reserves coach for Carlton with Parkin the head coach.

WTF do you mean there's no Santa Claus?Charlie and Will look like they've just been told there's no Santa Claus.![]()
imo, engaging with people on social media doesn't help anyone.
It won’t have had any influence at all.Seems having his name mentioned in trade week has seen JDG re-assess his approach to pre-season.
Agreed, the most likely scenario is that the high performance staff are trying to put him in the best physical shape to avoid injury reoccurences and keep him fit through the entire season. It won’t have had any influence at all.

Jmac do you think AFL players ever slack off?

I was there too. Got tickets and took a Hawk mate, he enjoyed the twos, the seniors not so much.Fair enough I didn’t proofread your slightly confusing post. Never seen a game review before of a reserves game from 40 years ago.
Thanks for the great reports!A couple more I meant to add….
JDG - looking v good. Different body shape to last year / past seasons as he looked leaner in the upper body and legs. Only slightly, but looks fit and was covering the ground well. Would be interested to hear others thoughts, and monitor again in the coming weeks, But I honestly didn’t pick him at first.
Kicked a nice long goal, and covered a lot of ground. Running well. Looks switched on and motivated.
Jiath - not prominent sadly. Needs to stop looping the ball as he prepares to handball or kick. Takes up time, and opens himself up to being caught as trying to dispose of the pill.
Howe - looking in good shape and nice involvement. Slightly bigger, as mentioned previously.
Houston - liked what I saw. Running well and getting involved. Needs to improve on last season, and put in. Hopefully more to come.
Pendles and sidey - both in ripping shape. Moving well.
He thought he had broke into the team, but he was wise to leave, no way would he get a game with curnow there.I saw a grab of Buller in the media last night. He is as keen as mustard, is loving it here and confident of doing well. It was interesting to hear that he had no desire to leave the Swans but with Curnow going up there and us coming knocking he changed his mind.
It’s probably the same dickheads on here who only ever see the negatives.Just saw a post on Swoop Luke’s Facebook about Ned Long. Lots of comments about his disposal. Do any track watchers ever see players like Ned doing any work with the coaches to work on kicking skills?
He's always the last to leave the track, always working on his skills.Just saw a post on Swoop Luke’s Facebook about Ned Long. Lots of comments about his disposal. Do any track watchers ever see players like Ned doing any work with the coaches to work on kicking skills?
Reading Facebook comments about footy actually risks lowering your own IQ by osmosis.Just saw a post on Swoop Luke’s Facebook about Ned Long. Lots of comments about his disposal. Do any track watchers ever see players like Ned doing any work with the coaches to work on kicking skills?
