And?

Listen, these idiots from the LNP made it a no win situation for the PM, he goes and gets booed, doesn't go and gets booed...what do you people want? Let's get one thing straight, what happened 1 week ago isn't anyone else's fault but those 2 assholes on the bridge.
And give it 1 month nobody will give a ****.

Economics always will matter more.

It's hard not to think that there were sections of the AJA and the Liberal Party that inwardly cheered after last Sunday when they worked out the political ramifications.

You post that social media video without comment.

So I'll give mine.

This was meant to be a moment of reflection, sadness and healing. Of remembering the victims murdered by an ISIS inspired madman and his father. To rejoin a community.

But instead what we got was a political rally inspired by the opportunistic hateful rhetoric of current and former Liberal and One Nation Party MPs and Senators.

And video has emerged showing the Murdoch tabloid aligned Australian Jewish Association planning tactics to make it a political rally - of coming up with strategies for coordinated booing and heckling he Australian PM when he arrived.

A massacre has been used as a platform by desperate politicians eager to revitalise their sagging political fortunes. By
once again using the tactics of igniting division and hatred.

Shame on you and anyone in the Jewish community who imagines that in any way this led this country down a path to less antisemitism.

You're a Jew hater.

*For those not following recent discussions, this is obviously not true.

I have a lot of time for NSW Premier Chris Minns,

You don't of course. But saying that gives you what you want us to imagine is a bipartisan platform to pivot to an attack on Albanese. Which is your aim

the difference between Albo and any of his cronies is light years apart

No - the difference is not measured in terms of time/distance equation but in terms of the separation of powers proscribed under the constitution - that and the fact the Bondi massacre happened in NSW.

Minns at least had the guts to stand up and admit things have gone wrong with the October bridge march and the Bondi massacre..
That's because they were events that happened in his state, under his jurisdiction with his government and police force in charge.

Gosh, that's all jolly interesting.

You are probably over 55 and yet have no idea on how federal, state and local governments works, let alone what those governments are meant to be responsible for.

Log off, read some basic knowledge, gain a clue.

Oi!

I'm over 55 and have an understanding of these things.

Happy to admit the lights don't shine quite as brightly as they once did and knowledge rusts if not constantly cared for. But not a fan of the correlation theory between age and ignorance.

One thing I'm certain of though is that ignorance is as much a thing in 2025 as it was in 1985. It never ages. Just that it has more avenues now to bubble to the surface . ;)

But I feel you know the game works.

Got wisdom and know how to use it.

FMD what a beat up.

For starters, who remembers this supposedly “defining image” of Howard embracing the surgeon after Port Arthur? I’ve never seen it before in my life.

I’ll say it again, the overwhelming majority of Australians are not antisemitic, but if Albanese’s opponents think this relentless campaign of him being soft on antisemitism is a big vote winner, I think they’re going to be very very disappointed.

Our media has a lobbying problem same as our governments do

If one doesn't bow to lobbyists the other applies pressure

It's not a good place for actual democracy but it is the current system working as intended

Out of a leader perceived to be ‘doing nothing’ who has agreed to an investigation into intelligence, backed a Royal Commission and appointed David Gonski to a taskforce into education, and an ‘action man’ looking to crack down on the basic right to protest a genocide, I’ll take the ‘do-nothing’
Aren't we getting both though?

Yeah, but apparently the second one is what a popular leader looks like 🙄

I’d take the review of intelligence and failures, would even be interested to see what Gonski comes up with, he’s well respected. I have no time for Minns’ bullshit. Calling out Israel’s atrocities is not anti-Semitism.

Minns seems a willing fascism enabler

Labor nationally are heading in this direction though and I truly believe it's because they know things are going to get worse ( because no western government is going against what end stage capitalism requires)

So they're laying the groundwork for police states to control the expected future unrest

Albo is more soft message, Minns is more hardline but they're both pointing us in the same direction

We're largely a Vassel to the US with our own ideas of regional power

Regardless of who sits in the chair this is the reality of politics

I should point out that just because they are preparing for this doesn't mean it will happen

My wife is Jewish by birth and a refugee to boot.

Me being a Skip with a pure Anglo name and Aussie heritage (and once red hair) with at least one convct ancestor calls your comment bull shit.

The low level of antisemitism existing underneath average Australia interactions is pretty blatant if you listen to for with a close ear, the stereotype of Jews being canny with their money, leaning towards to accusations of theft, the anti intellectual bias of the tertiary educated etc/

Australian's are a low level of bigots based on religion, race or ethnic origin.

The antisemitism Stereotypes of historical Europe and Great Britain can be exposed by scratching the surface only lightly

Recieved British bigotry.
