Can't recall the last time Turner did anything useful at any level tbh.

Has been useless since he injured himself late 2023.
Not only is he poor onfield but his captaincy is farcical. Would rather back guys off reputation than back the bowlers who've actually performed in the match.

Close game, two overs left, why would you pick your most expensive bowler at that point?

Also, have some bloody spacial awareness and back out when you've got a fielder behind you coming in to catch the ball (vs you trying to go back with it). The field was set so you should know where the other guys are coming from.

Boland the opener we've been looking for.

You might even say the Scorchers are running with a credits crew.

Two seasons ago we hosted a final and crashed out against the underdog. Sound familiar? Been downhill since.

And on queue here's the Stokes glaze Ochre

Just always finds a way doesn't he, the English captain! He just makes things happen, Ben Stokes (the batsman left one on his stumps)
You can just tell how much he wants it, loves these situations

Serious problems with the batting line up. Weatherald clearly not at the level. Khawaja ancient and needs to be retired for some new blood after Sydney. Labuschagne reverting to type at Test level after plundering soft domestic attacks. Green continually finding ways to get himself out.

Surely the selectors have a look at Kellaway in Sydney ahead of Weatherald?

Weatherald will get the last test but selectors went the wrong way. Should have had Renshaw in the side to start with. The series has gone to type from the past few years where they get a decent performance from a batter and either starc or Cummins make lower order runs to drag them out of the mire and give the bowlers enough to bowl at. Out number three can’t be averaging under 30 over a three year period

Hope Carey can form a partnership.
Curious, what's the deal when a batter is running and the bowler gets in the way, especially when it prevents him from getting to the crease in time, and is out?

Crazy how bad footwork is on batsman these days.. head moves his feet he doesn’t get bowled, Carey moves his feet and he covers the ball … and doesn’t glide it to slips for practice

Its all very entertaining and all.

But this is terrible cricket and not a good look at all. Especially as we are looking at the possibility of only seeing 13 out of 20 days of cricket so far and none of those have been because of rain.

Would be fitting if Sydney is a wash out. Embarrassing end for a pretty embarrassing series

When a ball you're expecting to be thigh height is hitting you in the chest and then a ball that should be waist high is shin height, I can understand why players footwork is all over the shop
