L'Équipe are reporting that Nantes have sacked manager Luis Castro. Expected replacement is Ahmed Kantari. (They were chasing Will Still but apparently didn't want his brothers as assistants).

Nantes are currently second last and only won 2 games under Castro. Kantari will be their 23rd manager in 18 years.

Even when Bayern won their 11 Bundesliga titles in a row, they had 8 managerial changes!
Though I guess if successful footy coaches like Chris Scott or Bomber had the opportunity to go off and coach a big AFL club in England or Spain, Geelong might have seen more coaching changes...

While i get Marescas frustration he also knew this was the project and we're a circus. I guess we just need to find the right ringmaster.

You'll love Rosenior. So well spoken and likeable. Hopefully has developed a few more strings to his bow at Strasbourg to deal with low blocks.

Sure it's not the be all and end all but to say Rosenior isn't in the conversation and the most easily gettable for obvious reasons isn't fair.

Rosenior has been memtioned as a future Chelsea manager for a while now and hes doing his apprenticeship at our other team. He knows exactly what the club is about(Strasbourg are run the same way) and looks to be embracing it. Hes a fair risk.

I think they'd prefer him to finish the season at Strasbourg first though or the ultras will burn the stadium down.
