This post has aged very well given Tyler is in the news for the wrong reasons.Like it or not, Jack Ginnivan and Tyler Brockman’s careers are now linked after a talented small Fwd left the Hawks and we brought in a talented small Fwd.
As Van Halen says in their stupid lyric, “only time will tell if we (they) stand the test of time”. (Note I love Van Halen)
Best case scenario is both kick 500 goals in 250 games.

It's probably a bit premature to even think of this - but I guess this is Bigfooty.Huge talent.
I wouldn't say no to a rookie spot.
Let's be realistic. He ain't Cyril. He's not even Chad.Huge talent.

It's not like he was lighting it up for West coast either.Let's be realistic. He ain't Cyril. He's not even Chad.
For his sake, I really hope he settles in for a long career.
He does have talent but he doesn't have the kind of talent that would make an AFL club keep him on their squad if he keeps pulling these kinds of shenanigans.Let's be realistic. He ain't Cyril. He's not even Chad.

I would have trouble cheering on a "hero" like Tyler as a Hawk, even if he were supremely talented.Marginally talented. Some skills but not really a consistent AFL player.
Wish him well but yeah, nah.
Got nothing to do with Tyler as a person, the Geraldton made him do it.My advice for any young AFL player to come from the area is to never ever go back to Gero. As the place is hell on earth and you might see a benefit of seeing family and friends, but as AFL players will run into the odd people who will try to be a hero in public. Every 7th person in that shithole of the town is twice as bad.
His career is in jeopardy. Not talented enough to be pulling such stupid stunts every off season. Probably gone if the instigator
I mean. I understand the skepticism about blaming the town, but I'm not wrong. Any of my fellow WA hawks fans who have spent any amount of time up there will half agree.Got nothing to do with Tyler as a person, the Geraldton made him do it.
He still WAS a hawks player and as such has garnered some interest for his actions.Maybe time to close this thread? He no longer plays for us and is unlikely to again.
