They were a very proud club thats no longer the case and have gone begging to the afl for assistance
Alot of heart ache for them coming but they are so disadvantaged because they have to fly so much
anybody got a tissue

They will also have to deal with the Tassie team raiding all the best upcoming draft talent in the next few years as well. So it's hard to see a way out of this hole for the Eagles in the next couple of years, unless the AFL make some exceptions and concessions for them.

Timed it perfectly getting in just before Tassie, Carlton though are absolutely ****ed.

Harely Reid - tool bag but deserved of his #1 status for his cohort
Willem Duursma - #1 pick and apparently the best of his siblings which is saying something.
Cooper TD - #4 kid looks like he has the skills and the height
Hewett - skilled young mid
Bo, Ginbey, and Hough solid trio of defenders
Reid, Williams and Shanahan all have KFP potential

Carlton:
Harry Dean and Jagga
Hollands
Lord and Cowan and O'Farrell - maybe, have potential

a few but still nowhere near the future star mids of WC which you build a team around.

Carlton will be fine. They have a kid joining them next year highly rated, plenty of first and second round picks, and his younger brother a couple of years after that ( who tracking to be better than Cody) . Cap space is in good order as well to potentially pick up some free agents.
