That's how I feel about Gibcus, I am not convinced about him not due to his skills or anything but his body.
it remains to be seen if he will be able to make it based off what we have seen with his body.
I hope I am wrong but he was completely gifted a game towards the end of the year subbed out, didn't even look great at VFL level, I guess it's going to take time but how much time does he have? would be my question.
Trainor wasn't unbelievable in his 1st year but I thought he was better Faull.
Trainor's field kicking was a little disappointing given his hype and kicking being considered one of his strengths
but Faull set-shot goalkicking was probably worse. I am not convinced about that action & I am very surprised he got Jack's number hope he proves me wrong in 2026.

Understandable that question marks remain with Gibcus and his body.Wouldn't take to much into last years "form".Be like walking on eggshells for him.Febuary/March this year will be important.Get through that period and his confidence will grow with his body.Xfingers.
Faull i wouldn't worry either.Another full pre-season will see him less fatigued but it think his primary role up fwd will be as the workhorse from centre wing too chf.Even the greatman Richo had goalkicking yips.
Trainors problem is he's like a kid full of sugar.Hyped upto the eyeballs.Needs to settle down be calm.

Faull and Trainor are locks at either end of the ground.
Trainor oozes leadership, just knows where to be on the footy field. Once he fills out will be a brilliant athletic tall back man.
Faull is just nuts, bang and crash style fwd like Jonathan brown. Don’t want to sell Gibcus and Armstrong short as they are both extremely talented players
Cummings playing style reminds me of Dangerfield, strong explosive and just goes for it

I think people are underestimating how good Armstrong is going to be.

Funny, I see Grilj as the most exciting and potentially elite of the 2. But the more I hear about Cumming the more like Dangerfield he sounds - footballer, not as a w***er. Also Cotch, but he really gives off those dominant monster physicality vibes.
Neither has the class of Lalor, but both could be fantastic pieces in the puzzle.
