Jacks, Jacks, Carse, who else? Second Jacks chance and Carse were probably a <2% chance of being taken.Been dropped 5x
Definetly not chanceless but all 5 were essentially from poor shots as well
Maybe in T20 slaphappy, but you support your partner. The guy is on 150, he can lean on his bat if he wants too.

Needed to get out before the feature races.Mark Waugh was a lazy player
The specialist spin coach is working a treat for them however.I've lost count. Serves them right for not having a specialist fielding coach.
Cant watch it sadly but assumed the dropped catches to get Head out were absolute dollies...

England think fielding practice is beneath them.
That session summed up the series - destructive batting, careless batting, loose England bowling, dropped England catches.
Agree. Smith gets to the crease and everyone is saying he needs to get Head to switch back on. Sharp running is part of breaking the malaise.Maybe in T20 slaphappy, but you support your partner.
Always a run, he is a dozy fat South Australian trying to get out when the team is still a 100 behind on first innings.
That is selfish.
It helps that his entire renaissance has been since 2021 and the bazball road era.
If I recall the laws correctly, it is a no ball if the foot is grounded. If the foot is not touching the crease it's OK. I'm speaking about the back foot.Question for those more knowledgeable than myself. In the final over before lunch Jacks' foot was regularly crossing the vertical line of the bowling crease. I recall Carl Rackemann doing this on several occasions and getting no-balled. Can someone please confirm the rule around this circumstance?
The difference is Baz has a spinner mate who he can get on the payroilThe specialist spin coach is working a treat for them however.
Obviously they don't, but you're argumentative, so you take comments that are exaggerated for comic effect in the most literal sense.Well they don’t: ABC commentators literally yesterday were talking about how before play Jacob Bethel(?) took a number of screamers in their warm up fielding drills.
What they are doing however, clearly isn’t working because their fielding has been absolutely f**king terrible come game time, while Australia’s has been outstanding.
Lots to play out before we start thinking 600. New ball is just round the corner, and we'd already be 5 down if England could hold their catches. From this position the target should be to score 600 and bat only once
He would have. Best catcher I have ever seen.

Not to let Jacks off the hook and coming from someone who retired from cricket after under 10s: do they do directional talk in the field?
Like a few words to let him know that he was well clear of the rope, just settle and swallow it?
Hitting catches as part of the warm-up is hardly evidence of the Poms caring about fielding practice. They were doing what literally every park cricketer does before an innings, and I'd hardly say most of them give a toss about fielding practice.Well they don’t: ABC commentators literally yesterday were talking about how before play Jacob Bethel(?) took a number of screamers in their warm up fielding drills.
