Harbaugh probably regrets not waiting a few more days now. McDermott should be be targeted by the Titans now. I think he is a good coach who just struggles to get over the hump.

Bills have tried things like changing OC and new players just couldn't get there.

I think ego goes out the window when it comes to what QB situation you are walking into. Your coaching career starts and ends with the QB position.

Josh and lamar need minor corrections on few things ,but they are 90% of the way there as far as realizing their full potential. Any coach working with them will have an MVP level base to work with.

Contrast that with walking into a situation like that off Arizona,jets or browns.

He will IMO, definitely get a HC offer this hiring cycle and be highly sought after.

Ownership, however might be the stumbling block, but Sean McDermott would be a really good get for the Titans.

While I tend to agree with you, my point was more so that the Titans need to be more urgent and proactive , they always seem to be tardy with their process and end up with a consolation prize for their HC role.


The Robert Saleh news above is an interesting twist, as I myself don't see that as being an ideal fit.

I imagine the Titans realised they couldn't compete with the Ravens or Steelers for McDermott, so they grabbed Saleh before the Cardinals could.
