Yep know that feeling, our first child was always getting sick at day care so my wife would have to pick him up. She then decided to study childcare and setup family day care at our house so she could get paid to look after other kids and our son could stay at home in a less sickly environment.

This is the way.

Better the $$ goes to families instead of the daycare directors. I swear to god I see the director of my kids daycare on site only when there's a scandal they're trying to brush under the rug, or an inspection is happening and they need to comply with all the rules for a week or two.

I know it's them because of the sparkly Porsche parked out front.

It's bizarre to think that I'll be saving thousands of dollars a year once all my kids are in private school and not daycare.

Yeah we’re happy parents. Nothing has been gifted to them either. We haven’t charged them board whilst they stayed with us but said that money needs to be put aside into savings. They just work and save, they don’t drink or go partying just do fun stuff that isn’t expensive.

He is 80 soon. Joe Biden is only 4 years older and he gave off strong "it's time to put Grandpa to bed" vibes.

They are both the same vintage as John Howard and Paul Keating, and it's hard to fathom them being in parliament in recent years. Howard gets wheeled out occasionally and he looks and sounds like he has to literally be wheeled out.

Being a political leader or a CEO etc. is a middle aged man's game. Bit like coaching an AFL team. Who wants a 25 or 75 year old coaching their team?
