Who is this Barrass bloke, we should try and lure him to Hawthorn.

It's not a massive upset, Hudson. I'll give you the hot tip. Nobody cares about the result of this game. It's clearly being played at half rat power.

Think Sam Taylor just told Toby the bad news about his hammy.

Barrass BOG for WA surely.

Dimma really taking the Guerra comparisons seriously - gettin a bit thin on top!

Much better game than I expected. Let loose with my first angry 'you're ****ing joking' scream at the tv for season 2026 midway through the third. Thought a few of the glamour players for Victoria struggled.

Small note on Dimma. WA kicked the first 2 goals and VIC had barely touched it. He then stuck a tackle on someone. Was it Shai Bolton, I’m not sure?!Holding the ball free kick was paid and from that moment VIC was in the game.

Was barely commented on but from that point forwards VIC were in the game. A classic understated Blake Hardwick moment.

our Hawks boys did us proud.
Dimma, Battle did great lock-down jobs, Josh just gets the job done with no fuss.
TB was enormous, I thought WA's best.
Probably most excited by Gunna, I think his role was what it will be for the Hawks this year, pretty much a hybrid link-up player, a little bit like Tom Lynch at the Crows a decade ago. Wow, he did it so well, set up so many goals. If he can replicate that performance during the season, our forwards are going to be a gang of happy boys.

Without being too negative, glad to see the absurd hype about Sam Darcy getting what it deserved, utter nonsense.

WA has been pretty crap with younger player development over the last 5-10 yrs, I would love to see some of our young SA boys represent their state in a few years whilst still playing for our club

I don't think I saw one goal against any of our defenders especially when they were one on one against their direct opponents. And gunston surely had the most assists for the game. Bit glaring that we didn't have even one midfield selection for either team, but let's hope the collective does the job this season.

Gunston with 4 goal assists. Most in the game tied with Daicos.

Did this with just 15 touches compared to Nick's 38.

10 score involvements too.

Midas-touched.
