Best 18 for r3 looks thin. And not a fan of CDT at f5.

This is what I"m rocking at the moment.

Defence - I believe 2-3 of Roberts, Bergman & Rivers will be season keepers, all have no early bye. IF one fails, it's a trade down Newman who comes back round 3, or Windsor if he pops, or a must have rookie. Dawson, Mills & Laird all became 'must haves' being defenders playing pure midfield. I"d rather start all 3 and trade down if needed, rather than scrambling and needing to restructure to bring one in.

Midfield - Butters Sheeze straight forward - no bye, great role, good fixtures. Windhager is a POD, I think the inclusion of Flanders & Nas playing Forward / Midfiled will allow Windhager to dominate down back & rotate with Flanders on ball. Big test will be Collingwood, does he tag Daicos? If so he'll likely become Walsh. Lindsay, Rowston & Bruhn all have a great role (Lindsay flying under the radar) - Again, if one fails, i'll look to trade one up to Walsh/Petracca type coming off their bye.

Rucks - English looks set for a big year. McAndrew value too good to be R3, imo.

Forwards - Too much value in other options to start Petracca (although I'm nervous fading with his early favourable draw). I like the roles of Budarick, Reid and happy to have a look at Macdonald with his early bye and tough draw. I'm heavy round 4 byes, but can swing Sheezel forward and have the bets quality rookies on the bench, so its manageable.

Overall I like this structure, and give me the best chance of generating as much cash as possible. Easy trade down/up for MPer's.

Overall I"m hoping that with less rookies on-field, my best 18 scores will be better, and given I have the best rookies on the bench, they will help during rounds 2-4.

Previous seasons I've been too attached to top end premiums, so trying to learn from those mistakes. Not starting a must have mid pricer is greater than having a fully priced player drops cash quickly.

Settled on this for now, pretty vanilla

Windsor vs Coleman D4 (depending on OR from Coleman)
Bruhn vs Rowston M6 (also OR dependent)
Xerri/Grundy/English R1 (still unsure)
Macdonald and Phillipou in the mix amongst Rachele/M.Reid/Lalor for F4+5.
Could go 3 rookies in the mids and then get another MP into F6 (still 6 rookies, just in different positions).

Flanders is number 1 lock of the season. Remove anyone from that bye besides Flanders, definitely drop Pou before Ned

Great team, mine looks similar. Love the Vis r3 play (I’m also doing that)
It’s hard to find money to start Trac tbh I think it’s not worth shuffling too many things around just to get his two (potential) higher scores the first 2 rounds. I don’t think he has that ceiling in him to justify starting him. Could be proven wrong tonight though
