Yep atleast he’s got cash on his head
Hoping Grundy shows last week was abnormal and he will cheap to upgrade to him in r4 (or later if he continues to drop cash)
Grundy will have his work cut out for him tonight with Meek and Reeves. Have a feeling Mitchell's decision to run both to start the season has been as a trial for this matchup so he can get a look with an eye on finals.

Blakiston goes for me this week
I do feel he is capable of a 70-80 this week however, his run after suggests now is the best time to trade out of him

Keeping Marshall - Ports run should ensure he gets atleast 60 for the next few weeks. Plan is to jump off him r6 when port play hawks (hawks appear to be the worst team fantasy for and against)

Unless someone is dropped trades are

Blakiston > Ash
Gulden > Murdock

Carrying $419 across which should help me grab one of the following next week
  • Jaicos
  • Naicos
  • Holmes
  • Walsh

Walsh still provides the most value and goes into a nice run. Holmes seems to be dominating with the fast game and we know how good the daicos brothers are.

Milera a watch. If no good rookies present and if he produces another good game, might trade a failed mid price (in Windsor/Parish/Roberts) to him

Pending no bloody carnage!!

Trying to be positive, let’s gooooo

Think I'll go Murdock over Stephens. If my gut is Stephens is good I can grab him next week and capitalise on Murdocks price growth this week.

We cross live now to my ruck division, entering the chat....

(Before all three mysteriously dropped this evening of course...)
live look at my ruck division with 2 missing (and Cameron is a spud anyway)

Since we’re all having a… er… ruck measuring contest, I’ll see all your Jacksons and Xerris and raise you an English, McAndrew, ZZ setup.

Been absolutely thrilled with it over the whole week fantasy has been going a long period of time and don’t see anything bad happening from here

Currently on the Gulden to Merrett train but the unfortunate news of Hayden Young and more contract negotiations with Essendon has tended to sway me towards Serong and backing him to increase his numbers from last year - enough to be a top 10 midfielder.

Talk me out of it.

So... I missed Grlj. Is he a must-have? While he showed great signs v Carlton I am still concerned about his scoring going forward due to his draft profile of being more of an outside impact player than an accumulator.

However, I didn't really watch R1 - was his role off half back and was it compelling?

Am I crazy for looking at Cook instead? (similar price and BE)

Or do ignore both of them and focus on finding a way to get Milera instead?

Chris Scerri debuting for Freo this weekend, potential bench option if he scores well?

Jackson 150k cheaper than English, outscored him and doesn’t have the early bye

Very shaky job security. A lot of players waiting in the wings if he has just one poor game could come straight out.

And Frederick is only 3-4 weeks away from returning anyway.
