It’s a 59 in best 18, I think Blakiston could pump out a 70/80 against Sweet

Worth the risk imo
Also hoping Blakiston can beat a 59.
What about for Sellwood?
Obviously hope his score won’t count, but take on the 59?
But I will take Serongs 59 over Sellwood.
Probably either or with Lindsay so I'll leave him onfield if in the final 22.
30 if you field. 80 if you dont.

There is no winning in this game
EXACTLY. Does us in every year.
Then there will be one or two players who still have random spud rookie on field at round 20 who pumps out a tonne.

25 playing
Grundy 88, Serong 59 the lowest so hoping they both drop off. :D

With 10 players under $419k (Carroll's price) I know an 88 won't drop off. Even the 59 will probably be best 18.

CMac has great scoring potential but those little w***ers Watson and Ginnivan just keep getting in the flipping way. If nobody else puts their hand up to go he's prob a trade for me - getting hardly any mid time and I don't like watching the Hawks

Really? At the mo he's one of my targets for Round 4 coming off his bye. Just seems a safe 80+ minimum every week as a forward who'll be priced ~76. Once they get some easy games he might have a pop score or two.

Don't think there's six forwards currently who are clearly better scorers than him. I would trust him over e.g. Greene, Mannagh, Miers and maybe even Rankine and McInerney, who are all more expensive.

I find Miers very underrated. Will be clearly top 3-4 forward by the end of year or at least i hope so as i have him.

The Wire Roland Brice GIF

Didn't think of it that way. Was just hoping for more and thought that getting rid of him on his bye made sense. Good perspective

Will bench Sellwood for Serong, reckon he's got a spike game in him, missed out a bit last night with the ball whizzing up and down the opposite wing.

Yep. Sellwood's ceiling looks to be 60, so it'd be a risk to start him over Jai's 59.

Looking forward to tonight’s game with new recruit Milera, Dawson, Richards, VC English, Jacques and Budarick. A few good scores and will be feeling positive. Or it’ll be another sub-par performance from Richards, Milera will revert to form, and the two rooks will get next to no ball.

I reckon we get some handy DP players this year. Touk for example, possibly Warner although with gulden out I think he will miss out now. There’ll be some surprises for sure and it’ll knock those hawks boys down a bit

No shot you have CMac over Miers especially, Miers is a mid 90s average at worst

Rankine 99% is a better scorer than CMac too, the rest you mentioned sure I woudnt put money on it but youd get pretty low odds on them scoring same or higher than CMac

I only had Serong 59 last night as emergency, I think he stays there. Not looping it

Have Lindsay, Grlj and Jacques on field as rookies im taking first.

Have 22 playing this week too so really not a huge need to blindly take the 59

You're right I've probably underrated Miers a bit, he's lifted his floor scores since midway through last year and is now a reliable premo FWD.

Would still take CMac over those others (Rankine is borderline, depends how much mid time he's getting and he's $150K more), just trust the floor scores more (won't go much below 80 too often I don't think) and I don't think we've seen him really let loose yet, e.g. last week against the Bombers he had two goals but 0 tackles, if he'd got his normal 3-4 then it's a 96/100 rather than an 84. Think he's building nicely into the season and is scoring even in tougher matchups. I would have started him if I didn't already have 3 FWDs with the Round 3 bye.

Surprised so many are chasing Milera. The guy's max average is ~75, which he's reached only twice 7 & 8 years ago. He needed 34 touches to get to his 111, and he's only gone >30 touches two other times in his career 😐

Worst case it’s a one week play that’ll make money and be an easy upgrade to a premium

The big difference is the kickins, he wasn't getting many while Keane was in, he had 7 last week and it looks like it'll continue, that and a more Lions type game where they look to possess more. Scored 90 in the PS match

Also has a great run for half back in the next 5 games for Adelaide. Can hold him for those 5 games and if he doesn't look like a top 6 defender (or close enough) I can trade him after that. Should still go at least 80s so is value even if he doesn't fully break out.

I've weighed it up all week and grabbing Milera this week for under 800k is a relatively low risk play.

I need an upgrade for Kerch but it can’t be a premo on the bye.
Is Milera all we have??

I was considering Josh Worrell but a couple of Adelaide posters are wary about his scoring upside.

Someone smarter and wiser can probably tell me this, but when was the last time there was only one Fantasy ton in a game, and that ton was exactly 100?
GWS vs Hawks opening round no Giants player tonned up. Hawks are just a really tough side to score against for Fantasy.
