Qtr 1
Swans 3.3.21
GWS 0.2.2

Goals
Willis, Christie-Day, Loucas

Notes
1. Fitzpatrick - lively early across the HFF with good skills
2. Willis Loves a tackle. Good evasion
8. Blanch - Good run and tackle. Moves well in traffic and competitive
9. Christie-Day created space against direct opponent, finishing let him down
31.Loucas- not hugely dominant early but a presence. Good over head marking. played all over the ground
35. Richardson- swept up a lot of the Giants I50s. Good positioning and body in body work

Footskills early were poor

It's a shame the two clubs (academies) couldn't (or wouldn't) pony up to pay for some commentary for this weekend's games. Clearly there are knowledgeable people out there - the teams who commentated on the last two rounds. I don't know if the SFL and ACTAFL seasons have started yet - maybe they have and those local commentators are unavailable. But it would make the watching experience so much more enjoyable. Hell, I'd almost take Kelli Underwood commenating.

And if no commentary, at least some ambient background sound would be preferable. I can hear there is some but it seems like the broadcasters have turned down the mics to the lowest possible setting.

Qtr 4
Swans 14.9.93
GWS 6.6. 42

Goals
2 x Loucas, 2 x Stewart, Willis, Christie-Day, Hawes, Clothier, Jarrett, Lamond, Ellis, Munro, Farrell, Redfern

2 Willis - Worked hard all day. Good skills and ball use
25. Stewart - lively in the fourth - two goals in the qtr and nice on the HFF
28. Edwards - Was good all day without any stand out patches. Good in traffic but can pick wrong option

Patch in fourth inflated GWS score.

overall solid game across the board with no really highlight performances.

We seem to have a few KPPs coming through in this group in Perna, Richardson and Loucas

Scouting notes from the last Summer Series game last weekend:

Onto the Talent League, which kicks off for us next Saturday (March 28) vs GWS
So our participation in the CTSl give the boys a chance to play against a wide range of their peers and they start them off playing the same team they just played the weekend before?

Bid matching is about to get a whole lot weirder if they introduce the top 5 bid match extra end of first round pick policy.

Fix a compromised draft by further compromising it is just dumb
