That was a terrible game to watch in general. Pies look like a 8-11 type team. Middle of the road. There going to be hard to score against again this year that doesn't look like changing but they are struggling to score themselves. Scrappy chaotic footy. Playing 2 rucks Because they shifted Cameron forward is a sign Fly knows things need to change if they are going anywhere this year.

Yeah, I didn’t watch much of the game, but I did turn it on halfway through the third-quarter and saw that the Giants were +15 for inside 50s as well as being on top of pretty much every other stat… I don’t know what has happened to them over summer, but there is so many questions about their list at the moment.

They’d be pretty thankful that they took all of their chances against us in round zero, or they’d be zip and 4.

The hand wringing over R0 is becoming boring.

We don't know what the effects of that loss had on our team. Maybe there's a new resolve, an understanding that as it's a new season last year's intensity won't cut it.

They caught us out, we've got to cope with it, but that doesn't mean we have to lacerate ourselves every time GWS plays.

you must be new here; whenever there are high expectations for the Hawks we become a very stressful bunch
Paradoxically I thiink this board is happier/ much less anxious when we are expected to struggle and then outperform (even if still low on the ladder) compared to underperforming even though making finals (because we didn't win a flag dammit)

I don't buy it. Giants controlled large parts of the game and butchered every opportunity inside 50.

The tag as the worst piece of umpiring I put on that throw only lasted a few minutes until the Logan free come along.

Dragging a clearly concussed Answorth up off the deck by his jumper was the single biggest dereliction of a duty of care I've seen in a game for a longtime.
