We dont have the fitness base yet but we do have the talent

Shanahan is a machine, Duursma is a lock for Rising Star, CDT looks awesome, Allan and Lindsay looking the goods. Reid playing proper football, Davis fantastic on the wing. 2 wins 1 loss and in general the top 5 in our B&F is probably 4 blokes under 22 years old.

We probably end up with only 6 or 7 wins as we get tired as the year drags on but much progress already and its 3 weeks

No doubt on the talent part - on your other point - you’ve won all three second halves: are you confusing body size/shape with fitness? You aren’t seeming to have any trouble running out matches. Even today with port finishing fast it wasn’t lack of fitness it was just that you went defensive and tried to close it down. I thought you looked fast and up tempo all day (albeit I missed the first quarter)

Im sure he's enjoying the cushy media job much more than coaching that club

Didn't deserve the hate he copped from their nuffy supporters.

They are getting their just desserts. Having a high win % against the bottom 10 doesn't look so bad now.

Port quite simply a pack of weak campaigners.
Josh Carr lol.

Look as a cats fan we did alright out of a dodgy one on Thursday, but do we really need more effing reviews? They want the quarters to be shorter, not longer. Then this
Common sense would be that if it's not clear if it came off a player, you just call it a ball up.

The intent of the rule was to make the game faster. Now they're negating that by taking the time to review the calls.

List management strategy also on show today. Doing the hard yards in the draft vs. topping up with players from the bargain bin of the Reject Shop.

Weagles going to be in September well before Port are again.
Absolute truth right here - you can only kick the can down the road for so long before it is too banged up to be of any use.

This is where our list is now.

Just how good does Wil Duursma look. Allan had a good first half not sure what happened. A lot to like with Duurs, Shanahands, CDT and Reid

How nice to feel something again.

So many green shoots from the youngsters.

If we can bring the pressure from first bounce at home next Saturday, we can push Sydney all the way.
