We dont have the fitness base yet but we do have the talent

Shanahan is a machine, Duursma is a lock for Rising Star, CDT looks awesome, Allan and Lindsay looking the goods. Reid playing proper football, Davis fantastic on the wing. 2 wins 1 loss and in general the top 5 in our B&F is probably 4 blokes under 22 years old.

We probably end up with only 6 or 7 wins as we get tired as the year drags on but much progress already and its 3 weeks
very early. Jagga goes alright

Nah, Port by plenty. Couple of outs, looked like all players ran out of gas at the end too and it was the Sunday twilight game.

There will be a reversion to the mean, and that's okay, the consistency will come over time hopefully.

Look as a cats fan we did alright out of a dodgy one on Thursday, but do we really need more effing reviews? They want the quarters to be shorter, not longer. Then this

I’d rather a correct result over a quick result.

It contributed to Crows losing. Today, it gave Port the chance to win which otherwise would have been game over.

I’ll take a 20 second delay for that.

You're making it sound as if it's happening 3 times a quarter. Last touched uncertainty is lucky to happen once a game. No issue with me in checking each one if unsure, as said the play has already stopped.

i would give the rising star to Shanahan atm.

How nice to feel something again.

So many green shoots from the youngsters.

If we can bring the pressure from first bounce at home next Saturday, we can push Sydney all the way.
I’m hoping we are more competitive than we’ve been against them but they ain’t no port / norf…. Lid is on.

let's not get too carried away
Not as if Sydney's list doesn't have deficiencies. No Gulden and Heeney under a cloud. Their key backs aren't much chop and Curnow's not exactly in form yet. I don't expect a win, but running them close all game and going under by less than 6 goals isn't fanciful.

What a match saving mark he took in the last minute.

Not even just that, the guy hauled in 10 contested possessions and 5 contested marks at both ends. Slightly unlucky in front of goal but them's the breaks.

Only midfielders (Butters, Baker, Kelly) had more contested ball than him. Pick 30, what a jet.

Every WC fan sounding like serial pessimist eagle(bunchanumbers) for the last 6 odd years and with good cause.

There's no shame in thinking the boys would, nah just kidding boooooo this man.

The lads are back.

As I posted on your clubs review or autopsy thread. I will give credit where credit is due.

But I will say 2 important things.

1. Waterman does help the eagles forward line immensely. Kicked 2 goals today and nearly scored more.

2. Harley Reid had a quiet 1st half.

Reid was put up forward and that swung the game in eagles way. He did kick 2 set shot goals.

Eagles held on with 49 seconds to go.

Once the eagles had that shot on the forward 50, I knew that eagles player would drain the whole 30 seconds

Waterman kicked 4.4 actually.

West Coast and the random generational key position contested marking legend.

A tale literally as old as the club. Jacko, McKintosh, Gherig (briefly), Glass, Gov, Barrass, now Shana-hands.

Essendon, Richmond, Port, WCE

WCE still in bottom 4 but out of bottom 2
they will still cop some beltings this year.
Nah. Essendon, Richmond, North, Port/Dees.
