Tim Watson was the grand father of one of the greatest coaching family tree's in AFL history. His assitant Coach Alistair Clarkson won a SANFL Flag, then was part of the Port 2004 flag, and Head Coach of 4 Hawthorn flags. Beverage, Simpson, Hardwick, Fagan, McCrae, 12 AFL Premiership coaches descendants of Tim Watson.

Then you have all the Coaches who only had success because were connected to Watson in other ways. Sheedy, Mark Thompon, Simon Goodwin.
