I have had McAndrew at R3 because I expected ROB to come in at some point. However, now that it’s happened at McAndrew’s scoring went up, having Jackson at R2 is just a waste of cap space, so he will go to whatever premium mid I can afford.

At this stage I’m considering Banch for my other trade to fix up Latrelle. Not sold on the fantasy scoring potential but I really liked what I saw from him as a player.

Blew all my cash bringing in McKercher and Bont, so it’s bargain bin shopping for me this week.

Looking at a one up, one down to grab Coleman or Newman.

Means missing out on Ash… which is going to be a tough watch.

Have a cherry x 2 problem but will still be using one trade trading out Darcy Parish regardless

Fingers crossed Daicos is right to go

Lol they even call it therapy
Just goes to show how utterly terrible this game is for our mental health most weeks 🥴 Genuinely don’t even know why we play it sometimes

The twenty hours each week I spend to improve my ranking from 52412 to 52408 is time well spent !!!

At least you went up. Last week I went backwards by 750 spots after bringing in Zorko and Naicos.

Jackson isn't a very good ruck so he is pretty easy to score against, so that would help the pop score

(Jackson's strength are obviously everything else though)

Not sure if its smart to trade out a ruck premo unless it was Darcy Cameron who is clearly cooked in his new role

But the reason for the pop score from McAndrew was the 13 tackles. He won 32% of the hit outs for the match, which is well below his other games where he was above 40%.

My reasoning for not starting him at R2 was because I worried that if he was dropped and I was stuck with a 200-400k ruck then it’d be tough to get out of that, and because I expected ROB to come back in at some point.

Those two concerns are basically gone. If McAndrew is now injured or dropped, his price is high enough that I could feasibly get to Gawn or whichever other premo I wanted. He’s now played a game with ROB and scored highly, and not only that was miles ahead of him for actual game impact.

This now leaves me in the situation where I’m wasting 950k for a guy who is likely to be a 95-100 player with Darcy in the side, when I have a player who is probably only 10-15 points worse (and may well score better from week to week) sitting at R3.

Trading Jackson allows me to get Blamires off the field and replace him with a premo mid which is going to likely get me a 30-40 point increase each week.

I think I need to cut my losses and admit that McAndrew at R2 was the right call and move on.

Nas has been tagged in every game so far right? Perryman, tholstrup, Angwin, berry

No upcoming tags, think he's coming in.

Might trade Butters this week.

Only ton against Essendon (and we all know how terrible they are right now)

92, 86, and 84 against North, Eagles and Richmond.

Has Saints (tag), Hawks (tough team) and Geelong (tag) his next 3. He could honestly average 60 in those games.

I'm very worried.

Hope Port don't tag him just so I can get a look. Will look to bring him in maybe in R7 if the price doesn't go up too much. BE 110 rn.

Might trade Butters this week.
Can I have a ride in your new car at the end of the season please??

I don’t disagree on the logic of trading Butters but your team must be absolutely FLYING if you’re talking about that kind of luxury trade

If you predict a premo is going to score well below what they should (typically 100+, Butters I think will only score 60-70 next 3 weeks) it actually saves cash (because he'll drop a lot in that time) and points (straight swapping to another premo who would go 100s in that same time) doing the trade.

I agree its luxury, but I will weigh it up this week and decide. But it might be the best way to handle it.

I remember owning Butters last season for his 34 against Geelong. Hated looking at his stupid face in my team all week when that happened. Don't want that to happen again.

Nah I like the thinking. It’s the sort of move that nobody else thinks to do and hence can give you a leg up. Just feel like I’ll have too many other issues to even consider it

100%. I'm looking at Clark to Coleman next week for this reason. Rookies are doing what I need them to do so free up some cash and allocate it elsewhere.
