We need to starve GWS of our own mistakes and turnovers. Do that and we start with a 3 goal lead.

With Xerri redemption, Sheezel breakout incoming, FOS return and PC coming off career best 6 goals not to mention Super Cooper just growing into our own Adonis, GWS by 15.

Under appreciated post, I reckon.

If we win, it'll be because our backline did an excellent job against the tough GWS KPFs.

If we lose, it'll be because they didn't.

North have some great history at Manuka Oval, which is a gorgeous old school footy ground.

It’s a big oval, and has the closest dimensions to the G compared to any other AFL ground – only slightly smaller. On a clear day in the Canberra Autumnal twilight it will be slippery with dew and will get much chillier than we’re used to.

Almost opposite conditions to under the lid at Docklands with the fast deck and shallow flanks.






We have to adapt. Xerri will be crucial in a game like this.

Have a bad feeling, the Giants are definitely due and if their big guns start firing our defence could get exposed quickly.

Just hope we maintain our form and stay competitive
